UWC-USA

UWC-USA is an international school with many cultural events and opportunities for leaderships. Some of our cultural celebrations and school traditions/activities include: Holi, Bald for a Cause, Cafes (student performances), Cultural Showcases, Cultural dinners (each cultural family represents a different region of the world), Percentage Ball (LGBTQ), Farm work, Wilderness, and Community Engagement.

My leaderships at UWC-USA include:

• Closet Leader (LGBTQ affinity group)

• Stage Tech Leader 

• (80 hours a year)

• Stage managing, mics, props, and green room for student-run performances

• Sewing Hub Leader 

• A sewing club that meets every week 

• Wilderness Leader

• Completed a 14 day backpacking trip on the Colorado Trail to learn wilderness leadership skills

• Led the incoming class of UWC into the wilderness for a 3 day trip

• Climbing Leader

• Outdoor rock climbing in New Mexico for a week

• Living Poets Society Leader

• Flea Market Organizer
